Apple and Mixed Sprouts Salad

Here’s another amazingly delicious yet super easy salad recipe. This recipe is perfect balance of taste and nutrients as it consists of proteins (sprouts), fruit (apple), vegetables, greens, cheese and most importantly Flavor!

INGREDIENTS:

Apple (sliced ): 1 *apply lime juice immediately after cutting to save it from turning dark

Mixed Sprouts: 1cup (I used moong and chana sprouts, feel free to use your choice)

Mixed Greens: 1 cup (I used a mix of lettuce, rocket and baby spinach)

Onion ( thinly sliced) : 1

Cherry tomatoes (halved): 6-7

Feta Cheese: 1/2 cup

Sunflower Seeds: few

DRESSING:

Apple Cider Vinegar: 2 Tbsp

Extra virgin olive oil: 2 Tbsp

garlic (crushed or minced): 1 clove (you can also use garlic powder)

ginger (minced): 1/4 inch (you can also use dried ginger powder but in lesser quantity)

Cumin powder: 1Tsp

Garam Masala: 1Tsp or more if you like it heavy on flavor and spice!

METHOD:

Start Mixing. drop in greens first followed by apples, sprouts, onions, tomatoes and apples.

mix all the ingredients of dressing in a bowl or jar and shake it well. Pour as needed over the salad and toss it gently. Finish it with crumbled cheese and sunflower seeds.

Voila! Dig in right away!!
